How often should my caravan be serviced?
Regardless of how often they are used, it is recommended that your caravan is serviced annually to ensure that it is safe to tow and to stay in. Having your caravan serviced every year also means we can identify potential problems, saving you costly repairs in the long run.
Which service do I need?
That all depends on how your caravan is used. If your caravan is permanently sited, i.e it isn’t towed, then you will only require a habitation service. If your caravan is towed to sites then we recommend a full service.
How do you check for damp?
We use both invasive & non-invasive moisture meters to check for damp in your caravan. This allows us to test below the surface to check for damp that may not yet be present in your caravan’s interior.
How much does an annual service cost?
Depending on the service required and whether your caravan is a single axle or twin axle, it will cost from £199 to £240 + parts
Why do I need to have my touring caravan serviced?
Your touring caravan needs to be regularly serviced to ensure roadworthiness and the habitation areas need regular inspections to make sure there has been no deterioration. If your caravan is under warranty it will require servicing within a stipulated time for that warranty to continue.
How long will the service take to complete?
From 3 to 5 hours, depending on the service required and whether your touring caravan is a single axle or twin axle
Will the gas appliances in my touring caravan also be serviced?
Gas appliances will be safety checked but not serviced as part of a habitation or full service
